The Greater Norfolk Medical Society of South Hampton Roads started off the Fall session with a meeting held at Byrd & Baldwin restaurant in Norfolk. The dinner meeting was sponsored by a pharmaceutical company. There was a lecture afterwards and some new members were in attendance.

Holiday Party in November

As in many years past, the Medical Society and the Department of Diversity and Inclusion at EVMS have sponsored a holiday party for the minority medical students and practicing physicians. This year, the get-together was on Monday, November 27th and held at the office of Virginia Dermatology and Skin Cancer Center.

The food provided was very good and plentiful. Throughout the night there was ample time for mingling and networking.
