Educational Activities

Throughout the year, dinner lectures with CME credit are offered. In conjunction with Practice Point Communications, through their Simply Speaking Program, there have been lectures on topics such as “HIV Therapy as HIV Prevention: Reducing the Risk of HIV Infection Among Uninfected Adults” and “Caring for Communities of Color with HIV Infection”.

As a component society of the Old Dominion Medical Society, which is the state society of the NMA, members of The Greater Norfolk Medical Society of South Hampton Roads are invited to participate in the ODMS Annual Meeting and Scientific Session and the NMA Annual Meeting and Scientific Session. Multiple CME credits are offered at both scientific sessions.
